Panthere a L'affut

Van der Kemp, John Mayne

John Mayne Van der Kemp

Little biographical information exists about this sculptor. It's possible that he was American
with links to Philadelphia, although other sources say he was German. He certainly spent time
in Paris in the latter part of the 19th century and executed some sculptures in terracotta and
marble.

 Notable Works:
                              Pierrot (1871) in marble
                              Panthere a L'affut (1890)
