Luca Madrassi (1848-1919)
Born in Tricesimo, Italy, Madrassi was a student of Cavalier and the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris. He debuted at the Salon des Artistes Francais from 1881-1896 and at the Nationale from 1896 specialising in bust, statuettes and allegorical groups
He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Francais from 1881-1896 and at the National Salon from 1896.
A member of the Societe des Artistes Francais he received numerous Honourable Mentions and was awarded a medal in 1896.
Notable Works: Madeleine (1880), La Paix (1893) and Le Baiser (1901)
