Moreau, Auguste
Auguste Louis Mathurin Moreau (1834-1917)
Third son of sculptor and painter Jean Baptiste Moreau and known for his graceful and elegant sculptures. Auguste exhibited at the Paris Salons from 1861 and showed his work right up to 1913.
Museums at Bordeaux, Dijon and Reims house examples of his work.

by three cherubs on Fiorito alabaster base.
